Dolce Gusto "Oro di Napoli" compatible pods by Passione 88 contain a 5% Arabica and 95% Robusta blend, characterized by strtength and body. The blend is made of 4 varieties from all around the world: natural Arabica and Robusta from Brazil, "washed" and natural sun-dried Robusta from Uganda, Cameroon and Congo, "washed" and natural Arabica and Robusta from Indonesia, India and Vietnam.
Xrema di napoli is an intense, creamy and full-bodied coffee. Toasted notes stand out, followed by hazelnut and chocolate, due to the intense toasting. The cream is abundant, the aftertaste intense and persistent.
The roasting takes place using a traditional method, i.e. in a rotating drum and a discontinuous cycle, where the beans rotate inside a cylinder through which a current of hot air is conveyed, allowing a uniform toasting. The slowness of the traditional process (up to 10 times slower than the continuous one) brings out the refinement and aromatic complexity of high quality coffees. "Oro di Napoli" in Dolce Gusto compatible pods is a creamy and round espresso.
